The U.S. Career Institute is a distance-based educational facility that allows students to study from home and earn their diploma while still being able to work and care for their families. The programs are designed for people to study at their own pace. The school offers certificate programs in Fitness and Massage Therapy.

The Fitness program gives students a firm foundation in the area of Fitness and Nutrition Specialist. Students will have the advantage of being able to stay fit while they get their education and they will gain an in-depth understanding of how the body works, including anatomy and musculoskeletal anatomy, nutrition and how it fuels the body and helps keep it healthy, their role as a fitness and nutrition trainer in the industry, injury prevention, ethical and legal issues, courses on muscular focus, and more. Students will be prepared to work in a fitness center, a heath and wellness center, a gym, and can run their own independent consulting business.

The Massage Therapy program prepares students to work in a field in which professionals are in high demand. Students will learn Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Energy Techniques, Anatomy and Physiology, and Ethics and Communications. Students will also receive hands-on training from the school's Colorado State-credentialed instructors. In addition to this, students will receive videos, lessons, and supplemental material to support the learning process. By the time students graduate, they will be fully prepared to work in spas, resorts, clinics, health clubs, pro sports teams, cruise lines, and they will also be able to run their own business.

Students enrolled in either of these programs have the ability to graduate in four months, but can take as long as they want to complete their education. This allows students to work at their own pace and then move onto their new career when they are ready.
