The Southeastern Beauty Schools consist of two campuses, each of which delivers a high-quality cosmetology education for students of cosmetology. These campuses are both located in Columbus, Georgia – one having opened its doors in 1973 and the other in 1985. The schools offer programs in Cosmetology, Barbering, Cosmetology Instructor Training, and Barbering Instructor Training. The schools aim to deliver the best education to students and to do so the schools ensure that their curriculum is up to speed with changes in the cosmetology industry.

The Cosmetology Program aims to teach students the basic theory that goes along with cosmetology and to teach techniques in hair cutting and shaping, shampooing, coloring, hair/scalp treatment, the application of permanents, makeup application, manicures, and more. The Instructor Training program builds on these skills, adding to the knowledge of the students by giving instruction in teaching techniques and general education theory and by giving them practical teaching hours.

The Barbering Program offers basic theory and training in hair cutting and styling, shaving, shampooing, facials, scalp treatment, and chemical application. The Barbering Instructor Training is similar to that of the Cosmetology Instructor Training Program and offers instruction in teaching techniques and general education theory and also offers practical teaching experience.

The staff at the Southeastern Beauty Schools works with each student to ensure that they have set goals and are able to achieve those goals. One method by which students are prepared for the real world is by getting hands-on experience with real clients in a salon setting. The progressive teaching methods of the school and up-to-date equipment are designed to make sure that the students have the best possible experience to prepare them for their careers. The schools also have a career placement program that helps graduates find jobs in the field in which they trained.
