The Natural Motion Institute is a member of the Empire Education Group, a group of schools that has been offering the highest cosmetology education for more than 70 years. The Natural Motion Institute has been in operation for more than 30 years and is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. The institute offers programs in Cosmetology, Barbering, and Educator Training.

The programs at the Natural Motion Institute begin with a set number of classroom hours that have students learning both theory and technique in such as way that they can emphasize their creativity and help it to come alive. Once these classroom hours are completed, students then get hands-on training in the school's salon with a qualified instructor to supervise. There are both full-time and part-time programs available so that students can find a schedule that works for them.

The Cosmetology Program offers 1,200 classroom hours with instruction in cutting, styling, coloring, texturing, hair cleansing, and in basic skin care, makeup, and nail technology. This program also includes all aspects of the Barbering Program that was once a separate program at the institute. The Educator Training Program is ideal for those who want to move on to teaching in the field of cosmetology. This is a 500-hour program and teaches student educational techniques, curriculum development, how to use instructional aids, classroom management, and administration.

All programs at the Natural Motion Institute include the teaching of business skills and communication skills as part of the training. This way, when students graduate, they will be ready for a career that involves working with the public and managing or owning their own salon should they wish to do that. The Natural Motion Institute also helps every graduate with job placement, which ensures that graduates of the school have the best possible chances of finding the job of their dreams when they are finished with their education.
