The Milan Institute of Cosmetology has campuses located in Amarillo, TX; San Antonio, TX; Bakersfield, CA; Clovis, CA; Indio, CA; Visalia, CA; Boise, ID; Nampa, ID; and Reno-Sparks, NV. At any one of these campuses, students will be able to participate in either an Aesthetician-Esthetician Program or a Cosmetology-Operator Program.

The Aesthetician-Esthetician Program provides students with a full education in the following: makeup (both application and composition), hair removal, bacteriology, facials, nail care and technology, and more. These skills will be learned via a classroom component as well as through practical hands-on training in a student salon that allows students to practice their skills on real people under the supervision of qualified instructors.

The Cosmetology-Operator Program includes everything that is taught in the Aesthetician-Esthetician Program, but students will also learn in-depth knowledge and be trained as a fully qualified hair stylist. Again, students will gain both theoretical and technical knowledge in the classroom and practical experience in a real salon setting.

Both of these programs include business education. Graduates will need to know how to work with and communicate with their clients and how to run or manage a salon or spa, including solid retail knowledge. These graduates will have the knowledge to one day run their own spa or salon.

Students at the Milan Institute of Cosmetology can also enroll in the Massage Therapy Program in order to work in the field of massage therapy. In this way, these students will graduate with the knowledge of how to treat sports injuries and offer general massage therapy for a holistic approach to health. Business skills are also taught in this program.

The Milan Institute of Cosmetology employs a fully qualified and professional staff and faculty that work hard to ensure students are well cared for. Graduates have the Institute's Career Services at their disposal, which includes a job placement program to ensure students find a stimulating and rewarding career.
