The Keystone Technical Institute has been operating for nearly 30 years. This has given the school the experience to become a leader in the field of technical education. The school is located north of Harrisburg, PA and is nestled amongst the foothills of the Blue Mountains.

The Keystone Institute offers a Professional Massage Therapist diploma program. This program prepares students for an entry-level position as a massage therapist. Students will gain competency in kinesiology, sports massage, and muscle testing and they will learn about the history of massage, the effects of massage, the allied therapeutic modalities, and Swedish massage. With this diploma graduates will go on to work in a spa, fitness center, or a private practice and they can also work with other health professionals such as chiropractors and physical therapists.

In addition to the diploma program, the Keystone Technical Institute offers a Professional Massage Therapy Specialist program that will also prepare students for a career in massage therapy, but it will take them a step beyond as it is an Occupational Degree program. This program teaches the students medical massage, kinesiology, sports massage, muscle testing, Swedish massage, lymph drainage, and cranial sacral and other therapeutic modalities.

The Keystone Technical Institute also offers a Personal Fitness Trainer diploma program, which offer students training in four key areas: soft skills, exercise programming, performing client evaluation and training regiment, and understanding the principles of management. Students will learn kinesiology, exercise, nutrition, and will also learn sound business management skills. They will cover in detail First Aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon graduation students will be ready for an entry level position as a personal trainer, fitness club instructor, or specialized strength, flexibility, and sports and functional trainer.
