John Casablancas Institute of Applied Arts is located in Vancouver, British Columbia.  The faculty is made up of award-winning industry professionals and students also learn from guest instructors that commit their time to the institute.  This Canadian Institute has a focus on the fashion industry and offers the following programs: Hair, Makeup, and Body Spa.

The Hair Program ensures that students not only learn the basics of styling and hair care, but that they are able to create the most advanced and latest styles seen in the fashion industry and on film and television.  The focus of the program will be on theory, cutting and styling, and coloring.

The Makeup Program gives students the skills and knowledge needed to work in many industries.  The focus is again on fashion and students learn from industry professionals who have earned their place in the world of makeup artistry.  Students will learn makeup for photography and the runway, special effects makeup and prosthetics, airbrush techniques, cosmetic sales, and more.

The Body Spa Program brings students an education in Esthetics, Massage Therapy, Nail Technician, and the skills necessary to be a Spa Owner.  There will be a focus on the following topics: waxing, spa nails and makeup, body care, enhancement treatments, and medi-spa.  This will ensure that graduates have the knowledge to bring to their clients in the art and science that is the spa.

All students will also receive training in business skills, customer relations, sales, and career preparation.  This will ensure that they are ready to work in any sector of the fashion industry and even run their own business.  The mission of the school is to ensure the students receive a quality education in a realistic setting and that they can then move on and excel in the career of their choice.
