Fortis College has numerous locations throughout the United States and is a leader in health and wellness education.  The school has a number of health and wellness programs, including Aesthetic Skincare, Barber Styling, Barber Styling/Cosmetology, Cosmetology, Barber or Cosmetology Refresher, Massage Therapy, and Nail Technology.

The Aesthetic Skincare Program offers students a firm foundation in facial skincare and builds skills and knowledge in facial massage, hair removal, the application of facials, makeup, waxing, masks, body wraps, basic skincare, and spa treatments.  Graduates are qualified to work in a variety of environments, including spas, salons, resorts, and more.

The Cosmetology, Barber Styling, and combined Barber Styling/Cosmetology Programs offer students a basis in a variety of skills.  The Barber Styling Program ensures students learn the basics of hairstyling, coloring, texturing, clipping, cutting, permanents, and more.  The Cosmetology Program covers many topics, including hair care, skincare, and nail care.  The focus of the program is on the art and science of Cosmetology.  There are also refresher courses in both Cosmetology and Barber Styling.

The Nail Care Program is designed to ensure students learn the basics of nail care, with a focus on nail artistry, manicures, pedicures, the application of various types of nails, and knowledge of the various products and chemicals used in the practice of nail care.  Students will then be able to work in a salon or nail salon setting.

The Massage Therapy Program offers students a firm foundation is Swedish massage techniques as well as a solid knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.  Students also learn kinesiology, pathology, and more.  Graduates will be fully qualified to sit their national certification exam and will be able to work in a variety of settings.

Students in all programs will also receive the basic business skills that will allow them to manage a business and to build good customer relations that will help them retain customers and build a solid business.  This gives students the freedom to run their own salon should they wish to pursue that path.
