A.T. Still University of Health Sciences has been educating people since 1892 and was the first osteopathic school in the world. Osteopathic medicine is a system of medicine that is based on the whole body and was first developed by Andrew Taylor Still. A. T. Still University of Health Sciences focuses on educating students in osteopathic medicine, with the knowledge that caring for the whole person in body, mind, and spirit is critical for overall health.

A.T. Still University offers an M.S. in Human Movement that is online. This program is designed to give students a solid foundation in knowledge of the human body. Through this program students will learn the science of the body and movement, functional anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. They will also learn functional assessment of clients and how to design and implement an exercise program for them.

The M.S. in Human Movement program also offers students some distinctive features. Students learn along with industry professionals and together they address and try to come up with solutions to the problems faced by today's society. Students can choose a particular focus during their path of study, including sports conditioning, geriatric exercise science, core performance, corrective exercise strategies, and more.

The Human Movement program is offered in partnership with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. There are two courses offered in the program that will help students prepare for their NASM Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement Certifications and the fees associated with these certifications are covered under the student's tuition.

This program is a post-professional program, which requires students to have a minimum of two years experience working in a field related to exercise or human movement. As a distance education program, students can still earn a full-time income while preparing for a career in a leading health care profession. Once students complete the program successfully, they will be qualified to work in fitness clubs, sports facilities, and in the field of sports medicine and other fitness- and exercise-related careers.
